I don’t even have to break it all the way down for YOU to understand this.
They told people you’re not a “good person” in some form or fashion… because they felt like you were better than them at something and have something they want but can’t have.
Their lives end up being a reflection of the false and evil nonsense they tried to project on to you from their own envy mixed with ambition they had towards gaining as much as possible from the same folks that don’t think any much more than them than they think of pets that have long since passed.
