Social Media: Passive Rejection and Exclusion (Pt. 2)

After years of not being on social media, I found myself playing a multiplayer game on mobile. After so many wins, the game kept sending me ads to connect one of my email addies or social accounts so that I could gain extra in-game benefits.

I decided to create a new social account instead of using my email because it wasn’t like I was trying to build a new social circle through the game, and I wasn’t going to use my new social account for anything other than playing the game.

Fast forward a lil bit, and my social account gets deleted because it gets flagged as being artificial intelligence, most likely because I didn’t add anyone and I didn’t engage in any content on the social media site.

So I figured I’d make a new one and put in enough effort to where I could leave enough of a digital footprint for the developers to know that I’m not a bot. lol.

I added a few people that were recommended to me, and I set my privacy settings to “Only Me”. I accept most friend requests, and the only “friends” I removed were the ones that thought they got away with real-life betrayals. They mistook forgiveness as “access”.

Lol.

Yea… if you know, you know.

I knew I wasn’t seeking any “likes”, “comments”, or attention, but at the same time, I wanted to keep my profile pics updated so that it doesn’t look like I’m running a dummy page. I also wanted to be available enough to where my contact info would be accessible for my REAL ones (REALLY REALLY)… not the counterfeit ones that require popular figures to “vouch” for you before they even acknowledge that they even liked you or resonated with you in the first place.

Lol.

(People are funny, man.)

Nowadays I’m not even social (digitally) outside of the online groups with engaging content. I’m so busy with work that I enjoy doing, that I honestly don’t have the time to pretend that I care about things that I know I don’t care about. lol

The funny thing about the “Only Me” setting is that it helped me to immediately (expeditiously… lol) clock those that added me not because they’re cool with me, but because they wanted to be nosy or follow up on a false rumor.

Lol.

<>

To what end though?

<>

For what REASON?

<>

Lol…

And what happened next?

Let’s just say that my name’s in a “special” place on THEIR account(s), not mine.

They had to “run and tell that”. lol.

Go figure.

Lol.

I don’t blame them, though. I laugh at the cowards that fed them the false intel. Now they really are out there lookin’ like “Booboo The Fool”.

Funny and not funny at the same time. Let God sort ‘em out.

Now that it’s been addressed, I’m moving on, now.

There are way more inspiring things to work on.
