They Lost At Their Own Game… It’s Funny… But Don’t Rub It In Their Face
I learned something valuable last night while trying to multitask. I was asking an extended family member about the relationship between knowledge, discipline, and civility. Kind of got sidetracked before I got a definite answer.
I’m aware that a balance between them is necessary, but I’m relatively young in a game that’s so old that it almost looks pathetic.
At the same time, I have no lack of enthusiasm, optimism, and excitement in life.
It’s been a busy week, yet my ability to be productive while NOT being miserable seems to be offensive to a specific type of folk who keeps trying to paint the narrative that I’m “disrespectful” and/or incompetent because I’m not superficial and I ask real questions without wasting time with small talk.
Cool.
You’ve already been able to discern the type of person they are. The same people they threw under the bus before introducing them to you are the same people that rush to their defense when because they get offended when you stand up for yourself. They’re the type to try and defend your bullies when you start kicking their ass.
EVERY time they think they can passive-aggressively speak on me with the intent to demean me (because my honesty offends them),I’m going to remind them of the truth. Lol.
Remind them of what they said about themselves, then remind them about what they said about their own family, and then remind them that they can’t even stand on what they said about me.
They made the mistake of thinking that their opinion of me was somehow a prerequisite for divine grace. So instead of stooping to the lowest of the low vibration that they’re so comfortable with, I’ll ask them questions based on real things they’ve actually told me.
Apparently, video games is beneath them, so let’s talk about games they said their own family resonates with the most.
Which game should I address first?
Pimp game? Their pops?
Drug game? Their sibling(s)?
Cougar game? Their moms?
Victim game? Their ego?
Those are the games they confidently claimed their people like to play. Then they tried to play in my face like I’m the problem. Lol.
Make a move, then.
Can’t talk to them about politics or religion, current events, or any taboo subjects beyond the surface… because they’d get uncomfortable to the point that they start manufacturing lies to change the subject and preserve a false sense of integrity.
Crazy huh?
