“Unshaken”
I remember when I was younger and got on one of those motion simulator rides at a theme park. One of my first thoughts was that there would soon be video games like that. I had already played games like Super Mario RPG, Zelda, Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger, etc. I was aware of VR development, too. But that was all before I had the mental capacity to understand that entertainment is also a form of communication. That was before I’d ever gotten emotional from hearing a song and having the ability to process the reasons why. I’d seen people “catch the Holy Spirit” growing up, but no one told or prepared me for those moments where I’d be alone and be emotionally moved by certain songs and/or instrumentals. I used to wonder why I got “tingles” when I heard certain songs… felt like I was emitting electricity or something. When I started making music FOR myself, I realized over time what was actually happening.
I remember playing RDR2 and damn near crying when I realized what was going on with the main character. If you know, you know.
“Unshaken” plays, and after it ended, I actually had to pause and reflect. lol
I’d write more on that, but I’ll leave that there.
Thank God I can immediately recognize the difference between real artwork and what’s being called “slop” these days lol.
Why am I not surprised that’s the word being used to describe it?
It’s hilarious.

It’s another reason I don’t say much to people that say “it’s not that deep” about things they have absolutely no understanding of.
Even if I’m walking on water, I’d never want to be dismissive about what’s in it and how “deep” it “actually” is… to scale.
Literally AND atomically…
lol
